Raw Print Install - Allied Information Networks

Install Rawprint Allied Boss Sat/Wioweb/AWC/PWC
1. Send the RAWPRINT zipped file to the customer via the Internet, PcAnywhere or send a disk with it on.
2. Unzip the files you should get 18 unzipped files.
3. Once you say ok to the unzip, the program will start the install and you use the default setting for all except when you are loading Rawprint for AWC or PWC then you have to change the directory to Rawprint when prompted to choose a directory. If you do not have the Rawprint directory the program will create one for you. To have this happen delete the \Program File when prompted to choose a directory.
4. When prompted choose Launch the program and then click the Finish. And the Rawprint program will start.
5. When the program is running.
  1. First check and make sure the printer to be used is listed.
  2. Then click on OPTIONS in the upper left corner. In the options check the box for USE AUTO PRINT.
  3. If the program is used for AWC or PWC you will need to delete all files in the box on the right and add *.rtn. This step is not necessary for Boss or AP SAT/WIOWEB. When this step is completed click save changes in the lower left corner.
6. Now click on the ABOUT and then replace the word unregistered to 2100115636 and click on register now and then ok.
The Rawprint program is now set up. Now the Allied programs will need to be set up to use Rawprint for printing.
- To setup Boss and AP to use Rawprint
  1. Click on options in the Allied program.
  2. Then click on Administration and then 2. Messaging.
  3. Then check the box in Auto Message Printing to Use Raw Print System
  4. Then do the same for the Manual Message printing
  5. Then click on close. The Rawprint program will auto start the first time you print a message or whenever you have a need to print from the Allied program.
- For AWC and PWC.(Make sure the program is closed before making changes.)
  1. Click on the start in the lower left corner of the screen.
  2. Then click on RUN then type in REGEDIT then click on OK.
  3. Then click on the + sign in front of Hkey_Current_User.
  4. Then click on the + sign in front of SOFTWARE.
  5. Then click on the + sign in front of AlliedTCP and the click on Mvals. Then scroll down on the right to side to Print Spool Directory and right click on it.
  6. Then left click on Modify and type in - C:\Rawprint\rawspool.
  7. Then click OK.
  8. Then click on the X in the upper right corner to close the Registry Editor.
- In AWC or PWC.
  1. Click on File.
  2. Then click on Keyboard Font, Printing & Sound Setup.
  3. Then click on Automatic Incoming Printing & RawPrint Utility.
  4. Then click on the types of messages you want to auto print.
  5. Then click on Save Changes.
  6. Then you need to manually start Rawprint.
- When the Rawprint is completely installed and running check that is has been installed in the SHU device for that customer.
  1. In the issue click on OPEN
  2. Then click on Customer
  3. Then click on DEVICES
  4. Then double click on the SHU device
  5. Then check the Raw Prin box then close the issue.

Troubleshooting
- Not printing
  1. Make sure the printer you want to print to is set as the default printer.
  2. Make sure you have setup RawPrint properly.
  3. Make sure the Allied program is setup to print from RawPrint.
  4. Make sure RawPrint is started for AWC and PWC.
  5. Make sure the messages are being sent to the printer Queue. This can be checked by pausing the print job in the queue and sending 2 or 3 messages to it and if they show in the queue take off pause
